What I learned from the first round, and what's coming next... What to expect from the second round of The Release & Reconnect Method

The first round of The Release and Reconnect Method finished last month. Six weeks (plus guest expert sessions), a small group of women, and a lot of learning - for my founder group and also for myself!

This is what I wanted for this first round, to provide excellent value, real transformations for my clients, and a learning opportunity for me - an indicator of where to take the course in future rounds. The reality of how the course landed gave me information that no amount of planning could have provided in advance. The women who went through the programme were generous with their feedback, and I have listened, refined and improved.
Round two launches in September 2026 (next month!). Before I share what is coming, I want to share what I am changing, and why. I think it matters that this work evolves in response to real experience rather than staying fixed, even though the first version felt "good enough."
What the first round taught me
The women who joined the founder round came in with a range of symptoms and expectations. Some had been dealing with pelvic floor dysfunction for years. Some came primarily for the jaw tension work. Some were curious about the connection between the two and wanted to understand their bodies better, not just manage symptoms.
What struck me most was how often the jaw work was the unexpected piece. Women who signed up for pelvic floor support found themselves surprised by how much tension they had been holding in their face and jaw without ever registering it. And as that tension began to shift, things shifted in the pelvic floor too.
The jaw-pelvic floor connection might just be one of the most underused levers available in this kind of work.
Round one confirmed that the women doing this work do not need more time. They need better quality of time.
What I am changing for round two
⭐Session times reduced from ninety minutes to one hour.
The founder round sessions ran to ninety minutes. One piece of feedback I received, and felt myself during the teaching, was that ninety minutes online is a long time to hold focus. The content was valuable, but the container was too long.
Round two sessions will be one hour each. The core work is unchanged. The pace will simply be sharper, and the sessions will fit more easily into a busy day.
⭐The community is WhatsApp only.
In the founder round, I set up both a WhatsApp group and a Facebook group. The WhatsApp group was where the conversation actually happened. Round two will have a dedicated WhatsApp group and nothing else. Simpler, more direct, and more likely to be used.
⭐The face yoga integration is more focused.
Based on feedback and my own observations during the sessions, the Face Yoga aspect will be prerecorded, for at-home practice BEFORE the live sessions. Live sessions become a refinement of these exercises rather than live learning from scratch (I'll be honest - it is super hard to teach Face Yoga live - a prerecorded version with voice-over is a much smoother learning experience! It's hard to talk and wiggle your face at the same time 😉)
What is staying the same
Everything that worked is staying.
The structure of the six weeks.
The live sessions with lifetime access to recordings.
The guest expert sessions - already confirmed to return are Becca (Women's Health Practitioner covering nutrition and the nervous system) and Jo (Hypnotherapist). I am in the process of reaching out to the other amazing experts who joined the founder round.
The bonus Diastasis Recti session.
The shorter "homework" workouts.
The optional initial 1:1 with me.
The programme is still built around the same core principle: the jaw and the pelvic floor are part of one connected system, and working with both together creates a more complete shift than addressing either in isolation.
What women in the first round said
I want to let the women who went through this speak for themselves, because their words are more honest than anything I could write.
"I don't feel the panic-inducing emergency to pee as soon as I approach my front door, which is more than welcome. I am also aware that my jaw is more relaxed, as I didn't realise I had been inadvertently clenching it most of the time."
"I feel like I'm learning a lot about my body and connecting the dots slowly. I'm feeling more connection with my pelvic floor, and more conscious of how it's working in my day-to-day functioning. I'm also really enjoying the face yoga element as I carry a lot of tension in my jaw, neck and shoulders and I am starting to feel the benefits of release in this area."
"The way you delivered everything was direct, specific, knowledgeable and sensitive. It has changed my approach to urinating and being a bit more mindful, which is not something I ever thought I'd write in an email. It all felt very holistic."
"You have presented the course so well, Charlotte. It's a must for all women. I would encourage everyone I know to do it."
Some of these women didn't realise they had any jaw tension to release, and none of these women expected the jaw work to matter as much as it did. (If this is you, I urge you to try my Face & Body Reset, linked below).
What is coming next
You can register your interest now for round two.
Registering your interest means you will hear from me first, before booking opens to anyone else, with everything you need to decide whether it is right for you.
If you have been following along over the past few weeks and any of this has resonated, I'd love to support you on this. More details in this link::
And if you have not yet watched The Face and Body Reset, my short free video with a guided tension check-in and one of the most effective jaw release exercises from the programme, the link is below. It is the best place to start if you are curious but not yet sure. Give it a go and let me know if you have any surprises!
