THIS ISN'T ANOTHER TALK ABOUT KEGELS
You've probably been told to squeeze more. Do your pelvic floor exercises. Try harder.
But if you're clenching your jaw, grinding your teeth at night, or carrying tension in your neck and shoulders without quite knowing why, more squeezing was never going to be the answer.
This free session is a real, hands-on taste of a different way of working with your body, one that starts with breath and release, not effort.
WHAT WE'LL COVER
In 30 minutes, seated, we'll work through:
✔ A simple breath check using your own hands, so you can feel exactly where and how you're currently breathing
✔ The S breath, one of the most effective tools I teach, which frees up your diaphragm so your pelvic floor has room to properly lengthen and respond
✔ A gentle seated release using a pair of socks, working with the soft tissue that cushions your pelvic floor from below
No jargon. No pressure to get anything right. Just come and feel it for yourself.
A QUICK NOTE ON THE SOCK RELEASE
If you have a diagnosed pudendal nerve issue or are currently experiencing pudendal nerve irritation, that particular part of the session isn't suitable for you. You'll still get real value from the breathwork, and this doesn't affect whether the full programme is right for you. It's one small piece of a much bigger picture.
WHO THIS IS FOR
This session is for you if:
-
You've tried pelvic floor exercises before and didn't feel much difference
-
You experience leaking, urgency, heaviness or pelvic pain
-
You clench your jaw or grind your teeth, especially at night (you may not even realise!)
-
You're curious about a whole-body approach but not sure where to start
-
You want to feel what this work is actually like before committing to anything
You do not need to know whether your pelvic floor is tight or weak. You do not need any equipment beyond a chair and a pair of socks. You just need to show up with an open mind.
ABOUT CHARLOTTE
Hi, I'm Charlotte, a Pilates and Face Yoga teacher specialising in pelvic floor and core recovery.
My approach is rooted in anatomy and biomechanics, developed through training with Body Control Pilates, and I'm also certified in the Glowinface Method for Face Yoga. My own journey started with postnatal recovery after developing diastasis recti, and separately, my own experience with jaw tension and teeth grinding led me to Face Yoga.
Bringing those two worlds together is what became The Release and Reconnect Method, a six-week holistic programme built around the connection between the jaw and the pelvic floor.
WHAT WOMEN IN OUR FIRST ROUND HAVE SAID
"I don't feel the panic-inducing emergency to pee as soon as I approach my front door, which is more than welcome. I'm also aware that my jaw is more relaxed, as I didn't realise I had been inadvertently clenching it most of the time." - Founder round member
"I'm also really enjoying the face yoga element as I carry a lot of tension in my jaw, neck and shoulders, and I am starting to feel the benefits of release in this area." - Founder round member
